Carman Chain is an Industrial Designer and Hardware Product Manager. I turn research into manufacturable products — from product definition and industrial design to 3D prototyping, DFM, and cross-functional delivery. My work covers consumer hardware, robotics, and assistive devices.

    Beijing Youbei Baiqi Technology

    Industrial Designer

    • Co-developed an assisted braking device; lab tests reduced the force a child needs to brake to a quarter of the conventional design.
    • Owned the YIQI aluminum-series development; the launch passed ten thousand units sold.
    • Ran full research and repositioning for the kable series through competitor and SWOT analysis.

    Industrial Designer

    • Led 3D-printed parts, designing and optimizing beyond the delivery standard.
    • Co-developed a new product line including a self-developed robotic arm, plus custom accessories and peripherals.
