TIPSY
Bringing the joy of mixology to people's homes
A home cocktail maker that balances aesthetics and taste, bringing the joy of mixology into people's homes.
Project Brief
TIPSY is a seven-week group project in speculative design with a simple goal: bring the joy of mixology into people's homes — a home cocktail maker that balances aesthetics and taste.

Background
Cocktails are rising in popularity among young people who enjoy a "tipsy moment", yet mixing drinks on the spot during home gatherings is difficult — the barrier to mixology is high, and the equipment and base spirits involved are complex, while safety concerns make many people forgo small indulgences.

Concept Sketches
Concept sketches map the machine's core parts: six kinds of base spirits, a capsule flavour box, a water tank, a recovery tank, and a stirrer.

Concept Presentation
The concept is presented as a rendering with a companion software interface, letting people craft drinks at home with the machine's built-in system.

Model Display
A working model demonstrates the finished home cocktail maker.
